The 2012 AGM will be on March 24 at 2:30 PM at St. Andrew’s Church. Development plans for the year will be presented and discussed.
Viewing Decks Completed!

The two viewing decks at the Arboretum are now complete and open for use. The official opening ceremony will be held soon.
Deck Foundations in Place

In the last two days Langley Rotarians have built the foundations for the two Viewing Decks. The pictures tell the story.
Two viewing decks, per the official plan for the site, are now under construction by ABSL members. It is expected that the decks will be completed by the end of July. Funding for the decks was provided by W. R. Clemas construction and the Township of Langley.
Arbour Day and Plant Sale

The Society will hold a fundraising Plant Sale in the afternoon on April 17 at the Derek Doubleday Arboretum, in conjunction with the Township’s Arbor Day program.
Annual General Meeting 2011

The AGM will be held at St. Andew’s Church Hall, March 19 at 2:00 PM. The guest Speaker will be Al Neufeld, from the Township of Langley Parks & Rec. Membership renewals will be available to those who have not yet renewed.
Parking Lot Built!

Thanks to a donation from supporter Bill Clemas, a parking lot has been built at the site. It is open for use, and will eventually be paved. Also, more of the trail base has been installed - visitors can now walk in a loop on a crushed stone trail.
